My Summer Direction Crochet-A-Long has a video walk-thru for each section! You can choose which technique you'd like to use (interlocking crochet or overlay mosaic crochet) and then you can also choose how wide you want your piece to be.
The sample in the video is only 6.5" wide (good for a scarf or table runner) but if you do nine repeats of the design you will get a full 42" throw blanket!

This download includes the FULL written pattern for both techniques and links to each YouTube video. A single-page chart for interlocking crochet is attached to that file and a multi-page chart marked with X's is attached to the mosaic crochet version.
You can also view this pattern online (in parts as they were released). Go to www.ashleeslint.com/Summer-Direction-CAL and choose which technique you are using to see the written instructions.

_____
The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern.
Overlay mosaic crochet is single and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color's single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting).

I have YouTube tutorials available for both crochet methods! Follow this link to get to my YouTube channel and find my other social links: https://ashleeslint.com/link-in-bio
